Be obsessed with your dream lifestyle

Your dream lifestyle may start out as a wish, a hopeful thought, or as something along the lines of “someday it would be nice…”. But the your dream lifestyle is not a wish, it is not a hope. Your dream lifestyle is what you, more than ANYTHING, desire to have, be , or do. It is your chief aim, your ultimate desire. (Ah hem…thank you Napoleon Hill.)

And the truth of the matter is that you CAN have, be, and do ANYTHING – as long as you BELIEVE that you can have it, can be it, can do it. IT IS THAT SIMPLE! You must believe in yourself, in your dream lifestyle in order to realize – to manifest – it. Doubt is not an option. You must, must, must believe that you – YOU – can have it, be it, do it.

It’s said that the universe works in mysterious ways. And when you believe in your dream lifestyle and you become focused on it – on THEE ONE THING you want more than anything else in the whole world, you’ll have it.

So first, you have to determine WHAT it is that you want. Do YOU KNOW what it is that you really, really want in life?

Once you do, you must become obsessed with it, with your chief aim. Think about your chief aim more than you do anything else. Why? Because what you think about most, you’ll get.

And you MUST think in the positive! It’s not, “I want to quit eating compulsively.” It’s, “I want to be healthy. I want to have a normal appetite.” See the difference? Feel the difference? Good!

When it comes to getting what you want in life, obsession is a good thing. Be obsessed with your dream lifestyle and KNOW that you can have it all! Think in the positive, and think about chief aim – what you really, really want in life – more than you think about anything else. The universe will help you out.

Case and point

My chief aim is to acquire $300,000. Yes, right now in life, my chief aim is money. Over time my chief aim will change; however, the current focus is on $300,000. And it will continue to be on $300,000 until $300,000 is manifested. Why $300,000? Well, I feel GOOD about $300,000. I feel like that’s attainable – realistic. It’s enough to pay off all of my debt (including our home) and leave Brian and I with money to travel and start a family. I have no real idea how I’ll actually acquire that money, but I know that I’ll get it at some point.

And while I don’t exactly know how I’ll acquire $300,000, I feel really good about where I’m at – and EVERY DAY I FEEL EVEN BETTER! I’ve moved into a community whose household income is two to three times that of my former community, my serving job is covering my bills, and I have Monday through Friday to dedicate to building SaraHefty.com, The Pursuit of Ownership, One Million Journeys, and One Million Journeys – Juice Plus.

And the world is helping me out! Just the other day I met three people who desperately need quality whole-food nutrition – a boxer, a woman who has lost 100 pounds (twice!), and an athlete heading to an Olympic training camp. And I met these three amazing people while serving. Thank you universe! Now, of course, it’s up to me to do the leg-work and connect these three to Juice Plus. Although I don’t yet have the smoothest system of sharing contact details while taking orders, it’s something I’m working on and creating. What an incredibly fun way to build a business!

So, do tell! What is your chief aim? Are you obsessed with it? How has the universe helped you out recently?

You become what you think about most of the time

Hey guys! I’m back from a most relaxing and amazing vacation! Brian and I celebrated our 12-year anniversary on July 28th in good ole Wisconsin. It was perfect! Time back home, chilling at the sandbar, attempting to understand golf at the driving range, a few great movies, drinks by the fire, curled up on the couch with two ridiculously adoring puppies, tasty, tasty food, flowers, lunch with the parents and grandparents, and a surprise treasure hunt! All in all, an incredibly fun and amazing time with my best friend!

Before, after and while traveling I’ve reconnected with and expanded my understanding of the idea, “You become what you think about most of the time.” Essentially when you think and BELIEVE yourself to be a success, you will be a success. Conversely, when you doubt yourself and entertain thoughts of failure, you will fail. In other words, YOUR THOUGHTS are the reason for your successes – and your failures – in life. Take ownership of your thoughts. Be positive. Be grateful! Believe in yourself and your success in life!

In the words of Henry Ford, “If you think you can do a thing or think that you can’t, you’re right.”

Think of your mind as a transmitter of your thoughts – good and bad – to the rest of the universe. Better yet, think of your mind as a magnet. You will attract into your life people, situation and things similar to the thoughts you have in your mind.

Isn’t that interesting?

According to Einstein and Edison, our thoughts are actually physical things that when believed and concentrated on repeatedly will manifest in our lives. So if we focus on being in debt, we’ll be in debt. If we focus on, become obsessed over and clearly define what we want, and believe we’ll get it (that relationship, financial security, etc.), then it’ll happen.

Needless to say, I’m rereading for the fourth or fifth time, Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich”. Sponsored by Andrew Carnegie (the richest American at the time), Hill spent 20 years observing the wealthiest men in America during the early part of the 20th century to learn their “secret” to success. His life’s work is shared in “Think and Grow Rich” along with “The Law of Success in Sixteen Lessons”. Turns out it’s as simple – and as difficult – as putting your mind to it!

Enjoy the clip! It’s THEE Napoleon Hill sharing a conversation he had with Andrew Carnegie. Ahh…the power of the human mind. You must watch and appreciate the old-fashion charm, but most importantly appreciate the message.
